This very attractive Rudge Standard four valve has been restored to concourse condition, the Rudge runs and rides fine. The Rudge is fitted with a powerful 500 cc OHV engine with four valves, four speed gearbox, girder front forks. From 1924 till 1927-28 machines were the brakes that had curved shoes with large friction faces. These worked against flat braking surfaces that were in effect extensions of the wheel rims. The Model in 1928 received already the internal oil pump which was a new development against the older models with externap oil pump. The ignition system consists of an ML magdyno, the carburetion is carried out by an Amac carburettor. Further equipment includes Miller electric headlight and Miller taillight, toolbox and steering damper on the handlebars. It has the extra nice sporty double exhaust pipes with aluminum silencers.
