The Rudge is fitted with a powerful 500 cc OHV engine with four valves, four speed gearbox, girder front forks and huge 8 inch front and rare brakes - which features helped Rudge being highly competitive and modern in its time. The ignition system consists of an ML magneto and dynamo, carburation is provided by an original early Amal carburettor. Further equipments include Miller electric headlamp and rear light, tool- and battery boxes and a steering damper as well. The Rudge Special runs and rides fine, more videos on request. This very attractive four valve Rudge Special has been nicely restored and then ridden as well in Finland some years ago. Engine- and frame numbers are correct originals for the production year of 1929.
